We are located 9 km north of Waskatenau, a small village in Smoky Lake County approximately 90 km northeast of Edmonton. Wasketenau is a Cree word that means "opening in the bank" and refers to the cut in a nearby ridge through which the Waskatenau Creek flows.

The word is pronounced as WAH-SET-NAH. (The “k” is silent.)

Depending on where you are located, it is roughly an hour drive from Edmonton to us, but that drive is well worth it. Come out and enjoy something great, slow down from the hussle and hassle of the city and enjoy the easy country roads and laid back vibes. When you get here, you're family, and treated as family.
